Funding/Maintenance of Renewable Energy Infrastructure
Renewable energy is becoming more popular, especially as battery storage appears to be more reliable, but has anybody given any thought to the costs of replacement and/or maintenance of the infrastructure. I am thinking of the cost of new panels and the frames holding them, batteries, control boxes, wiring, etc as they lose effectiveness over time.
For individuals: Five dollars a fortnight over twenty years ($2600 without interest) in a dedicated fund may work for replacement, but is something to think about.
For Companies: Is money being set aside for maintenance/cleaning, and for eventual replacement?
There is quite a lot to think about.

Financial Implications
Big Firm lawyers and Banks generate a lot of fees for themselves when sizable Corporations go ‘belly-up’. What if we reverse the process when firms/institutions/corporations go bust and the financial firms and banks get last go at the available funds, after the small investors have got at least a sizable percentage of their original investment back? Particularly if there has been financial mismanagement which any financial institutions should have picked up.
Would the Big Firms cry foul and take care to defend their profits or would they take more care that the candidate for collapse would remain viable? Even if they could make more if the firm collapsed? Alright, I’m a cynic.
